New Year's Minute to Win it!

Scott and Melody out did themselves this year for their annual New Year's Eve party! Have you seen the show "Minute to Win it"? Well, it's much more entertaining to watch your own family than strangers, but it's a game show where the contestants have 60 seconds to complete these random tasks. So my family spent the night battling for bragging rights on things like "who can empty a tissue box using only one hand tissue by tissue the fastest" or at least under 60 seconds.





I have some pretty awesome video of all of this, but not sure how to get it on my blog yet....soon hopefully. This challenge was transferring m&m's from one plate to another using a straw and we had to make a smiley face. We got one point if we did the task under a minute and another point if we beat whoever we were racing at the moment. At the end when we combined the scores of the couples it was a three way tie. So we redid the m&m race but the couple had to pass the m&m from straw to straw, so I picked one up passed to Caleb and he put in on the other plate. Do I even need to say who won overall? Team McBride all the way baby! I will give props to I think Kim who had the most points single handed.




This one we had to swing the ball back and forth to knock down the bottles, I was horrible at this one, my sister had hers all down before I got two! It' just went in circles!





This was the only picture because we mostly got video. We had to jump/shake ping pong balls out of the box.....very funny to watch every one's technique.

We had a lot of fun, I vote we do this every year. I wish I had more pictures from all the games we did a lot. A favorite was when we put an oreo on our forehead and you had to maneuver it down your face, no hands and into your mouth. Sounds crazy and yes you look like you are having a seizure but it's so fun! You should try it!
