We had another great Christmas this year! We decided to pack up leave a note for Santa and spend Christmas over at Caleb's parents house. I spent most of Christmas Eve finishing Ellery's blanket I made (I will post about that soon). It turned out great and I am very proud of it! This is what Santa left for the kiddos. Neither of which had any clue what was going on.
We gave Caleb's mom a glass top for her coffee table because she has run out of space to display more family pictures so she had the idea to put them on her table and we ran with it.
I will say things were different this year. I am used to super early Christmas mornings and crazy excitement. At the McBride's we slept in till 9 and then just hung out until everyone else woke up. We didn't start opening gifts until 10 I think! It was nice actually, Ellery and Hudson had no idea it wasn't any other morning but when they get older and do, we will definitely go back to the early morning craziness!
Ellery did what she always does when I introduce her to a new toy that sings and lights up, she gets worried and wants to sit in my lap, but she can't help bu want to push the buttons and play with it. She just has to get to the know the toy before she can play alone with it.
Poor Hudson was sick with a nasty cold and was not really happy, but he seemed to like to look at his new baby toys and loved his new cow blanky. That kid loves soft fabrics and snuggling his face right in.

Ellery got a new baby and carraige from Nonnie and Grandpa and she adopted her with no hesitation. Santa brought her a school bus that she drops balls into and unfortunately those balls are just so fun to throw on the tile. They make a loud noise and bounce all around. So Ellery doesn't sit nicely and expand her developmental skills like I planned, instead she takes the balls and throws them. That is all she did Christmas morning, we had to make her come over and open more presents!

My husband knows me so well!

And I know him so well, those are nice two-way radios

And apparently we know eachother so well we both got eachother video cameras!
Sad story: I gave Caleb his video camera on Christmas Eve so he could charge it and record Christmas morning. Well he did and we got so many cute clips and a really funny one when his mom opened a gift from her her hubby that said "Jared" on it and she started to scream "he went to Jared!" So funny! So after all the fun died down we wanted to watch the videos so we tried to hook it up to he tv. Love my husband dearly, but he is not tech savy. He saw a button with a picture of an SD card and an arrow so he thought "transfer" the card was what that meant when really it meant "format". So he thought he was transferring the videos to the tv when really he totally erased the card! I'm not going to lie, I cried. Caleb felt horrible and I don't blame him, it was just so sad to loose those precious videos. Good thing I took a billion pictures!
We returned that video camera anyway since we don't need two, I was mad at it, but I love my new video camera and I use it all the time. I have a lot of new videos to share.

Overall Christmas was great and I already can't wait for next year when Hudson is older! This is the Sunday after Christmas we all matched and I promise I didn't plan it. The boys dressed themselves. Ellery would not hold still so I could get a good picture of her in her Christmas dress!

Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas!

Did you try taking the SD card to Tempe Camera or somewhere like that to see if they could retrieve the stuff you recorded? Sometimes they can. I think it can be costly but maybe worth a shot?
You guys are the cutest by the way. I love your hair wavy, is that natural? If so, you are one lucky lady!
Ellery makes the cutest expressions! And Caleb looks like he's getting taller.. what's up with that?!
